I wrote a book 🥹 Truth Tales: The Air Fair-He . I thought it was time I added my own piece of representation to the shelves but I need help. My co-author @daniellemariettabooks and I got the entire book done out of pocket. However, to get this to where we want it to go we need pre-orders. . As usual I want to share some info on what books on retail shelves look like. They are usually the most “popular” books and traditionally published by one of the big five publishers. And getting traditionally published? Hard. I have 500K people between all platforms and couldn’t even get a text back 😂 There are so many beautiful independent published books like mine, @terysasolvesit and @authorvaleriethompkins that do not typically get on the shelves (and they are AMAZING books). The independent books tend to only be available online and the revenue per book? Maybe $5. But often much less. Most money from books comes from bulk orders and pre-orders directly from the author. .
