~ I miss our cute little blue house 🏡 …I haven’t spent a week in it since July and won’t spend another there until October (maybe?)! I knew this wouldn’t be our forever home, but it’s special because it is our FIRST home together 💕 I put so much heart into each little detail and made all of our Roman shades by hand. Before life really got crazy for me and my freelance travel, I photographed our living room (*I’ve since gotten an even BETTER lens for interiors 🤗📷 and want to take more photos whenever I get the chance)!

I think I took some of those slow quiet days in our new home for granted….how lucky was I to spend so much time decorating, cooking, and relaxing with my best friend?! Does anyone else feel like this when they look back on 2020?!

~ Matt and I went through a big phase of getting rid of old separate sets of things that didn’t match (*like plates/kitchen supplies/etc.), and had only one last thing on our list: TOWELS! I’m a big believer in buying QUALITY when it’s something that you use every day. Not only will these towels from @redland last longer, they also add a little bit of luxury in our every day (*and who doesn’t want more of that?!)!

~ isn’t it amazing how a BENCH can transform and elevate a room?! A little #GlitterUpper series on BENCHES is up on the blog and I’ve rounded up a few that I love! This is my old apartment bedroom, and truly, the sky blue storage bench (still available and under $200!), really pulled the whole room together! Now that we FINALLY have an awesome king bed (did you see my stories?!) I’m on the hunt for a new storage bench! Since we don’t have a linen closet, I know the storage part will come in handy for spare sheets and linens. I can’t wait to share more as our master bedroom finally comes together!
