Five ways to style black pants, midsize edition. I’m 5’5, 200 lbs and wear a 10-12-14. These tops vary in size from XS (the pink sweater), M (the black blazer) to Large (everything else). The pants are amazing! I’m wearing a large and have them hemmed by about 3 inches. A few things I couldn’t find the exact same piece, so I linked a similar/lookalike item with similar sizing.

Ok, so bear with me. I realize the photo quality is atrocious- my mirror is from the 1940s and it’s aged a bit. But I was so excited about how flattering and well this Pink Lily romper fit that I had to immediately take a photo. When not many things fit my current body, it’s nice to know there ARE stores that carry clothes that will flatter a woman’s body, no matter the size. I’m currently a 10/12 in jeans and wearing a large in this romper.

I saw this top on someone who’s a size 2 and fell in love with it, but wasn’t sure how it would look on my size 10/12 body. I’m thrilled with how it fits! Not too fitted but not too loose- a perfect fit in the size large. Great for the office or a casual Easter look with pink or blue slacks, if you’re wearing it as part of a vacation outfit- style it with linen or a stretchy shirt and sandals.
