Winter weekend in Nashville! I packed this fabulous coat that I got for Christmas and mostly wore my @adidas sneakers, although I brought my favorite western boots too. We spent 3 nights at the Gaylord Opryland - it’s in an atrium with beautiful gardens and waterfalls. We walked Broadway where we went into different restaurants and bars (kids can get in until 8pm) and hear lots of incredible live music. We had dinner at The Listening Room where it was a songwriter show - very intimate and fun. Then we headed out to historic Franklin for a couple days. We ate at the Factory multiple times- tacos, coffee, etc. Thos is what I packed in my carry on. #LTKTravel #LTKOver40 #LTKKids

Before we hung Julie’s gallery wall we spaced it out on the floor trying different combinations and placements. The prints are from Etsy and the gold frames are from Amazon. We did some repeated colors to tie it together. #LTKFindsUnder50 #LTKHome
Julie wanted a gallery wall. Gallery walls are not always the easiest things to pull off but we ordered these prints on Etsy and they make a statement over her green velvet couch. We made this work by doing all gold frames and by repeating a common color palette throughout the prints. Some prints have more negative space and that helps a gallery wall not be too overwhelming. Would you order a sofa online without sitting on it first? I will admit I have done it and I would do it again although some sofas I have liked better than others. Your main living room or family room sectional or sofa is a priority purchase. This is one thing I suggest splurging on- because there are other areas where you can save with less risk. -If you limit what you will buy to what you can sit on in store, you are limiting styles, colors, etc. Even stores like West Elm usually have a few floor models and then the other options of fabrics in swatches so some level of imagination is usually required anyway. - If you order online, order from a reputable brand and understand the return policy. -Always read reviews!
