Bright Kids Swimsuits for Swim Safety 🏊‍♀️☀️

This is your sign to choose BRIGHT swimsuits this year. Neon colors like pink, orange, and yellow are much easier to see in the water than blues or pastels—especially in busy pools or lakes.

Swim visibility tests have shown that fluorescent colors stay visible underwater while blue swimsuits can be much harder to spot. Bright is still cute, and being able to quickly see your kid in the water matters.

I grabbed these Wonder Nation fluorescent swim trunks and rashguards from Walmart for my boys this season. Such a great affordable find for summer pool days, lake trips, and vacation.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I always choose high-visibility swimwear for my boys. Neon yellow and bright orange are some of the easiest colors to spot in a pool, lake, splash pad, or crowded beach — especially compared to darker blues.

These Wonder Nation boys swim trunks are that perfect shorter trunk style I love: UPF 50+, elastic waist, quick-dry, lightweight, and budget-friendly. And they are even brighter in person than they look online at Walmart — truly fluorescent.

I’ve paid 5x more for this same look before, so I grabbed the next two sizes up in both colors.

Fluorescent swimwear for kids is a hill I’ll always stand on.

Visibility tests show neon yellow, orange, and green are the easiest colors to see underwater — especially compared to blues that disappear against pool or lake water. They’re also much easier to spot fast at a crowded beach, water park, or splash pad.

I’ve paid 5x as much for this shorter trunk style in this exact color before… so I grabbed the next two sizes up in the yellow and the orange (even brighter IRL).

UPF 50+, comfy, affordable. Paired with a white hooded swim shirt like my oldest is wearing for extra coverage without the nonstop sunscreen battle.

The kids’ toy shelf just got a little upgrade 🧺

I love the Montessori open-shelf, less-is-more idea… but let’s be real — it’s way easier with one kid than with three + birthdays + holidays 😅 Eventually the Hot Wheels, Legos, and Magnatiles take over and you just need a good-looking place to toss things.

This rattan cube from Better Homes & Gardens is the perfect solution. It fits right into our cube shelf, hides the chaos, and still keeps the space looking pulled together. Neutral, sturdy, collapsible, and honestly way more affordable than it looks.
