My freezer is always full of enrichment toys for my dogs. I usually prep them over the weekend & give them to my dogs when I need some peace like when I work out. I like to use a combination of enrichment dog toys, such as lick mats, West paws Toppl & Kong. I used cottage cheese, strawberries & Trader Joe’s, salmon treats this week.

Amazon Find for my dog + puppy: 2 in 1 Puzzle & Nail File Toy

The last time I took my dogs in to get their nails trimmed, the vet tech recommended getting a scratch board to help file down their nails in-between visits.

I found this enrichment toy that also acts as a nail file using emery pads. The perfect combination of entertainment for my dogs while shaping their nails.

Pros: We’ve used it for over a week now, and it’s made progress on the length of their nails!

Cons: Not sure how long the abrasive surface will last, but they do offer replacements to purchase.

This one is more for smaller dogs but they make different versions for larger dogs tagged in this post.

Amazon find that’s worth the hype! I’ve been testing out this 2-in-1 puzzle & nail file on my dogs the past week & it’s helped file & smooth their nails. Best part is, they get entertained & I don’t have to fight them with the dremel.

Travel essentials for dogs: car seat. I’ve used the k&h dog car seat for years for just Teddy. The medium size fits 2 small dogs and comes with 2 attachments to secure both dogs.
