IT’S A TALENTED PHOTOGRAPHER. AND A LITTLE EDITING FROM ME. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I like to be candid about life and honestly, Kat does next-level work in addition to most of the heavy lifting and editing at our content shoots. I then take her detailed images and remove the things that bother me. AND DO NOT TELL ME NOT TO BECAUSE #IDIDNOTWAKEUPLIKETHIS. I will always drop a gentle adjustment over my patchy skin to smooth out what I dang well choose. ⠀ ⠀ This is my page and I prefer to erase my adult, cystic acne scars in photos. I don’t care to see the reminders of that torturous phase of life in every image. In my opinion, this type of editing is vastly different from dropping a weird facial distortion filter over images. Think what you want about that because I’m not knocking a dog filter, but I also don’t use them to drastically alter my feed images. (Stories are another story.) 🤪 ⠀ ⠀ To be honest, who cares? I don’t know that anyone does, because we all have more important things to focus on, but sporadically I receive comments about how I look IRL vs. pictures. Guess what? Not one dang person phases me in that regard. ⠀ ⠀ I think pretty highly of myself – well most days. 😆 I was raised by cool people who made sure I knew my worth is not determined by my awkward height and bigass feet. The truth behind what I look like on here vs. the gym vs. every day is contingent upon the amount of work I put into it. Which is to say, I put a lot of time into my skin, health, and (wine drinking excluded) overall wellness. No, I do not wake up like this. I wake up looking like the elevator fight version of Solange and after about 65 hours of work and a whole line of @cwmakeup I look like the Lemonade revenge body redeemed version of Beyoncé. ⠀ ⠀ Moral of the rambling story is YOU DO YOU, BOO. Edit things. Or don’t. Eat the cookie. Or don’t. To each their own.
