They say the kitchen is the heart of the home—and this remodel proves just how true that is. We transformed this once-cramped space into an open, inviting hub where style meets soul. Warm, bright tones, soft lighting, and thoughtful details bring comfort and character, while updated surfaces and clever storage make it effortlessly functional. Whether it’s a quiet morning coffee or a lively family dinner, this kitchen now tells a story of connection, creativity, and home.

As a stylist, I love working in multiple facets of the word: be it wardrobes or living spaces, designing a personal fit is a life love ❤️

Powder Room Revamp
.
We made some cosmetic changes to our downstairs powder room to update and elevate the space.
.
Tall board and batten walls draws the eye up. Moody & colorful wallpaper brings sophistication. Gold accents warms the space, and the oval mirror draws the eye up and makes the room appear larger. Simple paint and a hardware swap on the cabinet draws on the color of the wallpaper. And glass shelves gives an artistic way to hold necessary or desired items

Phase one of our kids bedroom updates. We ditched Rafi’s queen size bed for his sister’s day-to-king pull out bed. The girls are getting bunkbeds as little sister Isa gets ready to join her big sister.

Next up, paint, lights, and some more build outs to make things look more built-in.

Living, learning, and loving our coffee journey.

Last year I did a coffee try, testing out a bunch of different brands and types of coffee. It was so much fun. I wanted to do it again this year.
.
Trying to focus on sustainability and health, as well as giving back, more focusing our efforts on small, local, environmentally friendly brands.
.
A friend of mine suggested swapping the disposable cups for reusable and I jumped on it! Better for me, better for our planet, I’m in! And making coffee fresh the day of makes for an excellent cup of coffee too!!

We’ve been having fun cooking foods together in our kitchen (a large island perfect for that was a must in our redesign).

Here, we made a delicious Brussels sprout salad with homemade dressing. In season and in vibrant green colors, it’s a great dish for the holidays.

Dressing for Success

Getting back into our kitchen (after 7 months without one!) has been a blessing. Cooking fresh, whole food recipes has been a délite in the new space and after months of eating out.

A makeshift strainer and dressing bowl did the trick for now. If we continue making dressing ourselves frequently, I’ll upgrade our utensils for more effective use

Homemade dressing is fresh, clean, and often super simple to make! Here, we used our mini processor to blend blanched basil and olive oil for a dressing to top our fried green tomatoes 🍅

With the kitchen remodel, we really learned about using or losing things. One item I almost tossed was this tea kettle; and I am so glad I didn’t. It came in handy blanching basil for a homemade dressing. And it’s more fun making tea this way too 😊

After not having any kitchen for so many months, it felt fabulous to be able to cook in our home again. One thing we learned, was living with what you need, and if you’re not going to use some thing, lose it.

Reno: Master Bath

We combined soft whites, golds, and deep greens to create a spa like master bathroom. Dimmable outside light bulbs keeps the space bright in place of a window.
