winter makeup go to 💄

Being a busy mom and teacher does not mean skipping out on looking great and feeling good. My life is CRAZY, especially that I have two little guys that I need to get ready and out the door before I get to work, as well being a type 1 diabetic.

The one thing I make sure to do is use a serum and moisturizer for the day, that way my skin in hydrated and not dry, flaky, red, etc. I also don’t always wash my face in the morning especially if I washed at night and depending on how my skin feels when waking up because washing can strip my skin even more.

As for the makeup routine: I get limited breaks during the day so if i can and have the time I’ll try to do it, and if I don’t I’m OK with having a clean moisturized face! On this day I did my make up after dismissal but you can also do it during your lunch or when you have at least 10-15 minutes to yourself!

Quick makeup look at work! I literally did it so fast, thankfully I carry my makeup bag with me to work and I usually leave it at work since it’s heavy! My eyeliner is one that I’ve used for years by Mac, lip liner is new by NYX, lipstick is Mac, another color that I’ve used since the beginning of time, a couple dots on each cheek of NARS Liquid glow, followed by Anastasia Beverly Hills contour using a contour brush on the upper parts of my cheeks, and MAC eyebrow pencil. The eyebrow pencil feels super chalky when using but I realized that is the way it is supposed to be, and I think it might be a new fav again! I love to rotate my liners, pencils, lip colors, etc. It always gives me a fun new look when I do!!
