Transitioning your bedding from summer to fall can be inexpensive and easy if you start with a neutral bedding base that carries you through every season. Switch out your accent pillows in front of your neutral shams, add some texture and layers that coordinate at the bottom of the bed, and gradually add in seasonal pieces to build a collection.

What is your favorite mattress? I’ve decided I am done spending a ton of money on mattresses that we end up hating. I’ve fallen in love with these inexpensive memory foam mattresses. We have medium AND firm in our home and our Air BNB and they get raving reviews from family and friends. HB and I love the firm for our bed.

I am all about creating a neutral bedding base that you can build onto and make simple changes to over the year and during season changes. This photo is for attention but listed below are some of my favorite bedding basics to create a base as well as the current throw pillows I purchased from Target. When you start with a neutral base, you can add color/texture through throw pillows and blankets. Add in a seasonal duvet or new euro shams and keep switching it all around over the years. Have fun!
