Day 8 (Bonus) of a week of outfits

On our last night in the Gili Islands we headed to a beautiful spot to watch the sunset, with of course a coconut in hand! (I must have had one every day in Bali, I love them! 🥥 )

It was the perfect end to a wonderful adventure with so many new memories and friends that will last a lifetime.

We then headed back to Sanur (on this island of Bali) using the famous speed boat ferry ⛴️ - it was a wild ride but I loved it, however lots of people were sick 🤢

In Sanur we did a bit of last minute shopping then had our farewell dinner where it was time to say goodbye and start the long journey home (18 hours!)

Day 7 of a week of holiday outfits

After a few days in Lomok we then headed over to the Gili islands.

The Gili islands has been on my bucket list for a long long time as I heard it was one of the best beaches in the world and beleive me when I say it didn’t dissapoint.

Included in my tour was also a snorkelling trip to see the turtles, I heard that there was lots of turtles there, but I dd not expect to see as many as I did. As soon as I jumped off the boat, the first thing I saw was a massive turtle. I then must have seen at least 30 more, it was unbeliable.

I have been lucky to have snorkelled in a lot of amaizng places (including the maldives and carribean) but this was the best snorkelling I have ever done. Something I will always remember.

I absolutely LOVED the Gili islands. It reminded me a lot of the thai islands I visited over 15 years ago. The beaches are beautiful, great food (and cheap, I had a lobster for £15!) and very friendly locals. I really hope that one day I will get to go back and spend more time there as 2 days just wasn’t enough.

Day 6 of a week of holiday outfits…

Time for the beach! 🏖️

Lombok is definitely a destination for those who love a beach, its little less touristy than Bali also, so definitely worth a visit.

We had a free day here, so myself and some of the group decided to go on a snorkellng trip to the famous pink beach (where the sand looks pink) Our guide also came with us, and took us first to the local fish market where we brought some fish to have for our lunch.

This day was one of my favourites, I love a beach so much and if it’s pink it’s even better! I just love the sunshine, the sea, the heat, the relaxtion, I’m a beach girl through and through.

Day 5 of a week of holiday outfits…

After Ubud we make our way over the east coast of Bali towards Candi Dasa, a beauitufl beach area of Bali. Whilst on route we also stop off at Kerta Gosa, the historical court of justice – and a great place for a photo!

We then has a day free where I opted to head straight to the beach for a bit of relaxation. I actually caught a cold while I was away (probably from the air con / lack of sleep) so I took this day to try and recover a little, while the rest of the group had a surf lesson (gutted to have missed that!)

The next day we then took the local ferry over the Kuta in Lombok. We took a local ferry that took nearly 4 hours! Considering I wasn’t feeling that great either it certainly wasn’t a highlight of the trip!

Day 1 of a week of holiday outfits.

As lots of you already know, I went to Indenesia for a couple of weeks at the beginning of septemeber and had an amazing time. I decided to not post while I was away for security reasons and so this week I am going to be sharing with you some of my holiday outfits, as well as some of my adventures over on my stories.

Travelling is a huge passion of mine (almost as much as fashion!) and I have been to over 55 countries. It is my dream to visit every single country in the world, so I still have a fair way to go, but I think I’ve made a good dent so far.

Over the past couple of years I have heard so many great things about Indenisia, so I decided that Bali, Lombok and the Gili islands would be my next adventure. Although I do like travelling alone, as a single lady, I do also love to meet people while I travel and so for this adventure I went with a company called G Adventures who specifialise in solo travel.I would really recommend them, you make your own way over to the destination and then meet up with a group and a guide. It’s a fantastic way to travel.

I started my adventure in Sanur Bali, where I met my group and tour guide. We then travelled north to take a walk through he Jatiluwih rice fields and then on to see Lake Danu Batan Temple, finishing at a home stay where we got to enjoy some delicious traditonal cusuine.

Holiday OOTD 🌴

Today is my last day here in Tunisia 🇹🇳, I can’t believe how quickly the time has past, but it’s been lovely relaxing and topping up my vitamin D ☀️

Last night I worn another preloved outfit from @vinted. One of the best ways I use Vinted is to look for different sizes of my fav pieces when my body changes. I had this playsuit in a size 10 a few years ago which I loved but got too tight for me, so I picked up this size 12 and sold my size 10 to someone else 👍🏻

Today im going to finish my book in the sunshine, then it’s an early night for me, as I have a flight tomorrow morning. I’ll try and pack the sunshine into my suitcase for you all, but my suitcase is pretty small, so I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to fit in! 😂

Holiday OOTD 🌴

I had a lovely first day here in Tunisia yesterday with the sun shining brightly (it was about about 27 degrees ☀️)

As soon as I got to my hotel I headed straight to the buffet for some lunch then jumped straight in the pool 🏊

My hotel is pretty small and quiet so it is just what I was after; some time relaxing with a book and getting some vitamin D ☀️

I got this lovely playsuit recently from @vinted and it’s one of my best finds (second to the lilac jumpsuit of dreams!) it not only fits like a dream but it also packs up small is lightweight and only cost £4!

I hope you all had a nice weekend, I took things very easy here, mostly reading, listening to podcasts and doing my puzzles.
