And can we talk about this coat for $65? It’s soft, has great detail and it’s quilted, so sure to keep you looking stylish but also warm and cozy. I am wearing a size Medium and it’s roomy enough to wear a thicker sweater underneath without feeling stuffed. And my handbag gives off major designer vibes for only $26. I love the gold hardware. It also comes in several other colors. Even though I’ve chosen to wear my @adidas Sambas - the belt, handbag and coat help create a chic and polished feel with the gold hardware. The belt and handbag are very budget friendly.

My @stjohn coat is an investment piece so I’ve tagged similar looks that are more budget friendly. I wear this coat multiple times a week and have had it for several years.

Head to your closet and grab similar items you have and play around with how to accessorize them. Fashion doesn’t have to be overwhelming. You just need the right formula.

Today we are going for classic sophistication. Whether it’s to the office, attending a function like a luncheon or an evening out, this look can easily transition between day or night.

💕Starting with a monochromatic base makes it super easy.

This sweater is under $30 and comes in multiple colors. I’m wearing a size small. I’ve added @spanx trousers (wearing a medium/tall) and a tailored blazer in a neutral camel color. My blazer is from two seasons ago, so I’ve tagged the most recent plus other options.

Accessories are all gold. My bracelet is under $30 from @katespadeny and my belt comes in a 2-pack (brown and black) for $21. It’s adjustable, which I love.

My ballet flats were an investment piece but you can easily achieve the same look with so many option out there. I’ve tagged several if you’re looking for similar ballet flats at different price points.

This is a comfortable and easy look that can go from the office to evening. I always want to look put together but at 50, I’m all about being comfortable. My days of suffering for fashionable looks are behind me.

When it’s cold outside, I’ve got the month of May 🎶

It’s been so cold here this week and even colder since last night. Today’s look is taking a basic black base and creating a warm but cozy look.

This cable knit sweater is under $30 and can easily transition from casual to dressy. It is super soft and I love the slight balloon sleeve that gives it a bit more polish. Wearing a small. Runs true to size.

I’m usually always in Uggs but hate wearing socks with them. But my calves are usually cold. These leg warmers come in a pack of 4 with all neutral colors and are perfect for adding layers to keep your legs warmer.

My leggings are seriously the best I have found for keeping the jiggle away and they are super affordable and come in a pack of 2 for less than $40. When you get older, things jiggle a bit more than they once did and nobody loves that. Wearing a medium. True to size.

My coat is a favorite purchase this season. The color is so soft and creamy but not too light. And it’s a great length. Wearing a small. Runs slightly big but I’d stick with your preferred size to allow for layering underneath.

This navy and camel designer look is on sale.

My Frank & Eileen jeans are under $100. And well worth the investment. I sized up because they do not have much stretch and am wearing a 29. I normally wear 28.

Sweater is under $30 and is buttery soft. Comes in multiple colors. Wearing a small in the color Heather Latte.

This belt is similar to a high end designer version but less than $20.

I’ve tagged multiple coats that are similar in style at different price points. My coat is St. John and was an investment piece. This look would also would work well with a black coat.

My Tory Burch handbag is the Thea and from two seasons ago. I tagged similar bags at different price points.

Today I’m keeping it casual but we are still going to look put together and polished.

This blue and white striped ruffle trim blouse for the win! It’s the ruffle detail that takes a basic outfit and creates a more interesting, elevated look. And it’s under $11! Wearing a medium.

Frank and Eileen jeans for the win. Quality fabric, easy styling, cropped flare denim. These are perfect for all year wear. Great addition to a capsule wardrobe.

Go check them out while they are on sale. Wearing the 1995 wash in a 29. I sized up one size because there is a tiny bit of stretch but not a ton. Perfect fit.

Today is all about building a capsule wardrobe.

Starting with a striped sweater (wearing a small) and darker denim jeans that are wit and wisdom in size 8. These pieces are both so versatile.

Add a belt that can do double duty and easily switch from one color to another. This one from @ralphlauren is on constant repeat is my closet.

Add your accessories. Anything here will work. Gold. Silver. Heels. Flats. It’s all personal preference.

The steal the show piece in this look is the trench coat. Very on trend for 2024 but something that you can easily transition from winter to spring to fall, even a cooler summer night. And this one is under $70. Buttery soft. Doesn’t wrinkle much. Definitely feels like a much higher quality coat.

Runs big and I am wearing an XS.

An easy out the door look that is pulled together, classic and still comfy.

Travel days must be comfy ✈️

This is my go to travel outfit starting with high waisted joggers (size 6) + a lightweight black and white sweater (size small).

I added two layering pieces - first, this denim tailored blazer with a slight pouf at the shoulder (size small) and a black coatigan (size small). Both of these pieces can be added to outfits I’ve packed and make great layering options 🤗

This is a chic travel outfit that can easily take you to the airport and immediately after to lunch.

👚 Wearing an 8 in jeans (they have good stretch to them); wearing size small in blazer, tee shirt and coatigan. Belt in medium and it’s $15.

Paired a graphic tee with waxed washed cropped flare jeans and a denim jacket. I always travel with a coatigan for some extra warmth and added a belt to elevate the outfit. Leave off the belt and untuck your shirt for an even more comfy travel outfit.

My $11 Sweater Gives Off a Designer Look for Less!

My style is classic and I don’t always want to splurge on designer items. This look is super affordable. My sweater is under $11 and these fur lined mules are under $60. This outfit gives off Gucci vibes but on a realistic and affordable budget.

My jeans are @karllagerfeld and extremely soft with a great bit of stretch. I really dislike stiff denim. These are from last year but I’ve tagged their current pair and an additional option.

I needed an outfit that would take me from meetings to dinner and this look does that.

I paired a faux leather trouser pant with a ribbed black sweater with balloon sleeve, cinching the waist with an extra wide belt to give some dimension.
