Let me show you how to make this popular coffee table for way less. Directions below.

Directions:
I used a 36”x 96” piece of butcher block from @menardshomeimprovement Begin by cutting off 6” from the butcher block long ways. Set it aside- You’ll eventually cut that piece into two, 3” pieces long ways. Next set your saw up for a 45 degree cut. Mark 18” in from each end and make your miter cut.This will be for the legs of the table. Add glue to each end and then nail with a finish nailer. Then pre drill the screw to ensure no splintering. Then screw together. Next, you’re going to rip down your 6” x 96” piece in half, long ways to get two 3”x96” pieces.

Flip the table upside down. Measure and cut your 3”x96” sections so you have 2 sections to thicken up the legs and one section to thicken up the top just like I did in the video. Your measurements will be slightly different from mine.

Finally, use wood filler to fill the screw holes then sand. Finish it off with your favorite stain or polyurethane as I used here. Enjoy!
