Organic Orange Candle DIY - Burns for hours and smells like summer! 🍊

Cut your orange in half then core the orange, leaving the skin intact. Then cut slices from center to the the outer skin. Make sure not to cut the center “wick” area. Next, take the center orange out and eat it. 😋 I found that using a grape fruit spoon worked best to hollow out the orange.
Pour olive oil into the hollowed orange, just below the top of the stem. This will allow the oil to ignite the stem. You can add a top orange piece to your candle, just make sure to cut a hole in the center for ventilation. I burned this orange for hours and it smelled like summer 🍊

Cinco de Mayo Tablescape- Perfect for Spring

This is such a fun, simple and inexpensive centerpiece. Last year I had this up for a #cincodemayo party and everyone adored this decor trio. The one trick you need to be made aware of is that you have to use whole limes or lemons in the center of a cylinder vase that does not have a second vase inside of it. This will help so that the sliced lemons or limes stay against the wall of the vase. And the lemons and limes will keep the consistency of the color in each vase. Then add your water and a floating candle to the top. It's a simple as that! Enjoy!

I love doing these beaded wreaths because the biggest investment in this project is reusable - the beaded wreath. I simply cut the zip ties and reuse the beaded wreath, season after season. I had a wall the was so big and awkward to decorate. But when I was searching for art, my style art was $1500 and upwards. So I decided to make my own art instead. And honestly, I like the personal touch of my creation better.

Directions: Start by crafting a sturdy frame using 2x2x8" lumber, assembling it with screws. Lay your canvas sheet on a flat surface, stretch it over the frame, and secure it by stapling it tightly. Enhance the canvas with a unique touch using rubber window seal strategically placed on top and adhesrwd to the canvas. Apply vinyl tile adhesive to create a personalized design, ensuring an even coat and fun design with an adhesive spreader. Allow it to dry overnight. Finally, paint the entire canvas, brushing in the same direction as the adhesive marks for a polished finish. Consider spray painting for an alternative aesthetic. Elevate your decor with this chic and budget-friendly project!

My total cost was under $100. I already had the paint and paint brush

I had a wine bottle that I saved from when my husband was building our home and we broke out a bottle of wine and sat in the freezing cold drinking it. We had no heat other than a torpedo blower 🥶 I've saved this wine bottle for 3 years and I finally figured out a way to preserve it and make it into a part of our home decor. And the cherries I've seen all over Instagram and fell in love with them the first time I saw them. So I figured why not give them a try?!?!

A tip I learned during the process:
Start in the middle of the wine bottle and cherry and work your way up. As the bottle or styrofoam ball tapers up, it's best to add one row of times at a time.

🍒 Virgin Recipe:
1. Air-dry cherries after removing them from the jar. Placing them on paper towel works best.
2. Melt chocolate with a small amount of coconut oil for easier application.
3. Dip cherries in melted chocolate, then generously sprinkle with gold sprinkles

🍒 Spiked Cherries Recipe:
1. Drain maraschino cherry juice (save for grenadine if desired) and keep cherries in the jar.
2. Pour in your alcohol of choice (regular or vanilla vodka, bourbon, rum or champagne are great options) soaking overnight in the fridge.
3. After marinated, proceed with steps 1-3 from the Virgin Recipe.

Note- Avoid prolonged refrigeration to prevent the cherries from sweating. Cheers to a sweet and explosive New Year's Eve! Also, make sure your maraschino cherries come with the stems. The label should say 'with stems' or 'without stems'.

How to Tie a Bow Tie Napkin

Supplies:
Hot Glue Gun
Cloth Napkin
Ribbon

Directions:
-Start with a flat napkin: Lay the cloth napkin flat on a clean service.
-Fold from both sides: Fold the napkin in twice from each side.
-Fold it together: Bring the folded edges together, forming a narrower rectangle.
-Fold into the center: Begin folding the napkin into the center from one side and then the other.
-Scrunch it up: Gently scrunch the folded napkin in the center to create a bow tie-like appearance.
-Secure with ribbon: Take a 5" piece of ribbon and wrap it around the scrunched center of the napkin. This not only adds a decorative touch but also helps hold the bow tie in place.
-Hot glue the ribbon: To ensure the napkin stays in place, apply a small amount of hot glue where the ends of the ribbon meet, securely fastening the bow tie.

Voila! You've successfully transformed a simple cloth napkin into a stylish bow tie. This DIY accessory is perfect for dinner parties. Get creative with different napkin colors and patterns to suit various occasions.

Instructions:

1. Use the straight part of the banger with a bend at one end.
2. String the gold ornaments onto the hanger, mixing and matching sizes to achieve a balanced and festive look.
3. Once you're satisfied with the arrangement, flip the arrangement upside down and poke the end of the hanger into the top of the cork on the champagne bottle. I used a disgarded part of the hanger to do this, ensuring the hole was perfectly sized.
