I screwed up (again) and didn’t paint the beadboard before I installed it behind the toilet 🙈

I found this little gadget on Amazon that was made for this exact problem. It’s flat so it is designed to fit behind tight spaces. It wasn’t cute, I had to straddle my toilet to get it done, but it worked!

I did something I said I would never do and painted my shower 🙈

I don’t have the time or budget to fully redo the tile in this shower, but it was so bad and needed a refresh. The tiles were really ugly, and were poorly installed. I used @rustoleum Tub and Tile paint, and did what felt like days of prep work (not shown here was me scrubbing and sanding the tiles).

My favorite part of the “new” shower is the @get.canopy shower head! It looks beautiful and the flow is the best I’ve ever experienced. I haven’t used it enough to see a difference in my hair and skin, but I will give an update.

My electrical box is off center to the vanity and medicine cabinet, and my brain simply cannot accept that. I’ll do a lot of home DIYs, but real electrical work (more than just putting in a fixture) is not something I recommend doing in your own. If something is done incorrectly, it can cause serious problems.

Using a light fixture with a back plate allowed me to offset the fixture so that it is centered to the mirror. The electrical box is still off center, but no one can see it 🤫 I drilled the new holes with a regular drill bit and it worked great!
