Ah, the joy of summer! It’s officially picnic time, one of my favorite ways to relax and entertain. There’s something so delightful about spending an afternoon snacking and sipping rosé with friends in the great outdoors.
In my garden, I have a large tree that’s just perfect for picnics. I’ve installed a gold rod over the table and adorned it with pink wisteria, which adds a touch of magic to the whole scene. For the table setting, I went with a romantic pink and rose theme. I set it up just like I would a dining table, with layered chargers and plates, pretty flower-shaped glasses, and pink candles in jars to protect them from the wind. I added fresh peonies, juicy strawberries, and, of course, rosé. The result is a charming, romantic setup that’s perfect for a gathering with your girlfriends.

Each miniature I’ve lovingly chosen from Russia, and the necklace that dangles Fabergé charms around my neck, whisper stories of tsars and opulence, of artistry that dances under the lamplight.
So, imagine the flutter in my heart, the skip in my step, when I happened upon these jeweled Fabergé-inspired Easter egg decorations. It wasn’t just an “Oh, how lovely” moment—it was a full-blown, “These beauties are coming home with me” affair. And come home they did, weaving their magic into the fabric of my sanctuary.
Now, picture this: they’re the crown jewels of an utterly exquisite tablescape that screams glamour with a capital G. It all starts with a pink linen tablecloth. This isn’t just any pink, though; it’s the kind of pink that winks at you, inviting you into a world of whimsy and warmth.
Atop this vision in pink, a clear charger with a gold rim plays its part, accompanied by the most darling light pink plates you’ve ever laid eyes on. The cutlery? Yes, it’s as modern and eclectic as it gets, each piece telling its own little story.

You see, this year has thrown me into a whirlwind, and I still find myself without a permanent residence (fingers crossed that this month ends my waiting). But let's transport ourselves back to a time when I aimed to recreate the alluring essence of a vampire's soirée in my beautiful dining room.
Vampires, as we know, are quite the intriguing bunch—undeniably lethal yet often exuding an air of sophistication, dwelling in ancient castles, and indulging in lavish feasts featuring the finest delicacies and, of course, their beloved crimson elixir. So, here we have a Halloween tablescape that exudes refinement.
Imagine sumptuous velvets gracefully mingling with precious metals, all bathed in the soft, enchanting glow of candlelight, thoughtfully arranged atop gilded candelabras. Satin napkins and a velvet table runner add a touch of luxury to the table's surface, reminiscent of the opulent attire of nobility.
Naturally, no vampire gathering would be complete without distinctive glassware. Behold the crimson and ebony goblets, poised to cradle the most alluring of cocktails, as we raise our glasses to our deepest desires. And, the pièce de résistance—a carefully curated menu. You see, creating menus is a personal tradition of mine. Not only do they earn the admiration of my guests, but they often become treasured keepsakes, taken home by those who attend. I love contemporary tablescapes more and more every day. I appreciate the clean lines, the symmetry, and the modern accents that make a table design special. For this inspiration, I used a stylish black and white set I received from Thyme and Table. I paired it with clear acrylic candle holders, clear rectangular vases, and simple but elegant centerpieces. These plates are versatile because they are fantastic in a formal setting, but I also use them daily (I always keep three or four sets handy, and I alternate them to elevate our meal routine). Today I am showing you another contemporary tablescape. It’s minimalistic, with straight lines and just a black-and-white color palette( with a touch of gold texture, in the beads of the table mats, in the metal of the glass and in the sparkles of the flower picks) but so inviting at the same time. I switched off all the lights, and it was very cozy too! I used high-end artificial flowers, acrylic vases for the peonies, and a tall Murano glass vase for the hydrangea centerpiece. I added a few gold floral picks to make it more refined and dress it up for the evening. I linked a similar vase because I bought this one in Italy many years ago. I am becoming a big fan of the large menu on the sideboard for a change. Guests love to know what’s for dinner, and they often ask to take it home as a keepsake!

Welcome to my Galentine’s dinner party! This tablescape is a triumph of different hues of pink and deep red, with different precious textures dancing together. I also added glitter and gold because I can’t live without either of those, lol! I love it because it’s romantic and fun. Instead of the place cards, I used customized acrylic wine charms…they are lovely! And the handmade velvet hearts are cute and elegant. Spring evokes beautiful flowers, and these garlands make your entire tablescape blossom. They are 6’ long and very full, creating a perfect floral centerpiece even for a large table like mine. I intertwined two garlands and added pillar candles on gold stands. I played with the colors of Nature, with different hues of green, pink, and white. I added different textures to enhance the country feel with pure cotton linens and rattan chargers. When we sat at this table, it seemed to us to be picnicking on a beautiful lawn!

These metal candles are genuinely one of a kind. I created this unique tablescape by playing with metal colors. I alternated silver, gold, and rose gold. I love it so much! I broke the “everything has to match” rule, but I created repetition and symmetry to avoid it being too busy. It’s modern, sparkly, and über-glamorous!

This year, I decided to incorporate the timeless symbol of eggs into my Easter table setting. These little gems embody the promise of new life and fresh starts - the perfect embodiment of the Easter spirit.
