I had a friend’s baby shower this morning. For some reason, I had it in my head that the shower started at 11AM. I was relaxing in my pjs at 8:45AM when I realized it actually started at 10AM (and was about 30 minutes away). Thankfully I can get ready pretty quickly. If you are wondering why there is a line down my skirt, I ironed it in a rush and it was still damp from the steam. It was either film with the line or not at all so I chose the former. It was dry by the time I got to the party.

Some powder room updates. Ignore the mirror! Wallpaper is Thibault Arboreta Linking the light figure. Not pictured but linking the fixtures I bought to match the existing faucet. It’s a darker gold than I would have picked but I didn’t want to change out the existing faucet from the previous owner. I tried cheaper options and they felt cheap. These are nice quality.

I put together a Net a Porter vacation edit for upcoming trips as well as the summer season. I absolutely love the jean shorts I linked and wore them all last summer. (I size up quite a bit in them to have a looser fit). I included some nice, easy dresses as well as basic leather sandals that can be reworn over and over again.
