To the girl who feels pressure to be perfect: You will never be, none of us will be. We are all just broken people in a world that expects us to be perfect. But you know what’s awesome? We have a God that loves us anyway. It doesn’t matter how much we’ve messed up, how little makeup we have on, what brand our clothing is, where we come from, etc. Don’t be fooled by this picture, I’m sweating and was very embarrassed to pose, and my hair took way too long to get it to curl. I have my off days, I have days where I don’t want to get out of bed. But I have Jesus, and that’s all I need. I don’t need to be perfect for Him, I just need to be present for Him.
