Pottery Barn or Target Pt 45- Guest bath refresh

Highlights:
1. The three things that will change your guest bathroom forever are upgrading the mirror, elevating your shower curtain rod, and putting something with organization above the toilet.

2. Put your extra towels IN SOMETHING even if it’s below the sink/ vanity. It comes off dirty when towels are just sitting there on the wood opposed to being in a wicker basket. Looks cleaner and more thoughtful

3. Think of those little stools like accent tables: they compliment a space and will never make it look cluttered.

Pt. 44- Storage and organization!

1. If it’s visible, it’s DECOR!! If guests see the bins, they matter. Neutral, cohesive containers elevate a space — cheap plastic stands out more than the items inside of them
2.Less to store = better organization
If you didn’t know you had it and haven’t touched it in a year, donate it. Decluttering first is key— that actually makes organization look clean and purposeful. Like literally just get a whole organization thing for your bathroom or mud room and as long as the wicker baskets look nice no one cares what’s inside.

Pottery barn or Hobby Lobby Pt 42 🎨

Highlights:
Art needs to be 2/3 the width of whatever furniture it’s placed on or hung above.
Hang art 6-8 inches above wherever that furniture is. Same goes with mirrors above entryway tables, buffet tables, etc.
Space out artwork 3-5 inches between eachother. When heights differ, the key is keeping the center of each one aligned.

Spring tablescape ideas that allow subtle hints of patterns, pops of color, and not to mention SCREAMS wealth and prosperity without breaking the bank.

Tip: An easy way to add pattern without overdoing it: layer a solid plate over a patterned one — subtle, quiet, but it still stands out.

How to assemble faux floral arrangements 💐

Highlights:
1. Make sure you wake up and fell sane and wealthy before starting this activity
2. Lay a “ bed” of greenery first— make sure to measure where you want to bend your stems (the bottom of the leaves shouldn’t be crammed in the vase) followed by longer secondary stems— then your main florals.
3. Turn the vase as you go so things aren’t one dimensional. And for the love of God don’t even think about taking a step back and analyzing it until the end!

Part 38: HOLY HOME SENSE?! 🙌🏼

1. If I didn’t already have my car packed with Hobby Lobby things I would have wiped out this entire place and bought one of everything
2. The statement lamps here are hands down the most beautiful and high-end pieces I’ve ever seen in a home decor store. I found several of them online too!
3. I kinda blew my own mind realizing that changing a lampshade might be the most understated, underestimated detail that completely elevates a room.

Part 37- Guest bathroom refresh!

Highlights:

1. You know how you go to a new restaurant and their bathrooms are always so innovative and fabulous? 10/10 all of them have a round mirror or another shape other than a square.
2. Treat a guest bathroom just like any other room. Don’t buy those horrendous “shower” curtains. Instead, put the rod higher, get actual curtains-curtains (measure then accurately) and line it with a clear shower curtain inside. CHIC.
3. For those odd square windows choose a natural bamboo blind instead of a translucent scrunched curtain. That yells wealth from 2 states over.

Frames frames frames! I hear yall!

Highlights:

1. When styling frames, think about them from every angle. If someone can walk around the furniture, the back of the frame shouldn’t be on display. The exception is an accent table beside or between seating—just layer it in front of something taller like a lamp or a vase to conceal the back.

2. The photos inside the frame matter just as much as the frame itself. A pop of neon orange in a room full of soft neutrals will stand out the same way an off-tone gold does—balance is everything.

3. And when it comes to gallery walls, less really is more. Instead of 15 small frames climbing a staircase, opt for 3–4 oversized pieces. Bigger reads cleaner, calmer, and far more intentional.

5 Budget Friendly Ways to Elevate Your Space 👇🏼

Highlights:
1. Firstly, hide visual clutter. Homes that look “clean” and pulled together aren’t spotless—they’re just, edited. Tuck away labels, remotes, random pens, mismatched magazines, and anything that adds visual noise. Get a fabulous ottoman with storage, large wicker boxes, baskets underneath a console etc.
2. Natural tones and textures make seasonal transitions effortless. Wood, stone, ceramics, and woven elements let you invest in quality staples that last—framed art, console tables, coffee table books.
3. Elevate the base, not just the decor The foundation matters. A large weathered terracotta vase or a tall ceramic planter instantly upgrades whatever you place in it.

Pottery Barn or Home Goods Pt 33: Shelf styling. (Seriously walked away from this one battered and bruised 😂)

Highlights:
The triangle method: styling like-things together in threes so the eye naturally moves. Colors, textures, patterns.
Use anchors on the top or bottom shelves. Larger pieces ground the space and instantly give the shelf purpose.
Layer decorative art in the back, behind the decor, to create depth and dimension. And remember! A tchotchke always has to have a partner! So put a little bowl on TOP of books.. not by itself

Pottery Barn or Target pt 32: WOW wow Whitney let’s dive in

Highlights:
	1.	Easy throw pillow rule: one quiet neutral, one textured, and one patterned. That mix keeps things layered without looking busy.
	2.	Wood tones and wicker are the ultimate transitional staples. Think a bold braided-edge tray or a solid, heavy wooden accent table—pieces that work year-round.
	3.	Faux florals should match the scale of your vase (which in my option bigger the better obviously). Extra-long stems are ideal because the wired branches let you bend and vary the heights for a more natural look.
