upgraded Amelia’s bedding this weekend so she has mini toddler version of the linen @parachutehome quilt that big sis has but naturally bc they shared a bed in yosemite so I might have to admit amelia is ready to ditch the crib 🥺 since it’s doing the bare minimum as a bumper the floor mattress (yep we’re still here → on the swipe), but knowing me i’ll prob hang onto the crib for a few more months for emotional reasons 😅 but also it cute. #myparachutehome

I ordered this planter for Christmas last year, and it was backordered so long (and even then passed estimated ship date) I wondered if I actually even placed the order, but, well, surprise i did and it’s finallly here and it’s gorgeously perched on my side of the bed in my favorite corner of the house in the room I don’t sleep in anymore 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃.

http://liketk.it/3h9RZ i might be ready to concede defeat and admit amelia is and will no longer be crib bound, but even if the crib is doing the bare minimum as a bumper for a 6-8 inch drop from the floor mattress or her occasional footrest (on the swipe), me not getting rid of it certainly has nothing to do with my emotional state over things 😢, esp not when cosleeping means this clip where she kept pulling my hand over her belly and stroked it 🥺.

i lost count of the number of people i told this past week that i feel drained and uninspired lately, but then I woke today to find my home office shining in a v literal new light after swapping our guest linens with new @parachutehome bedding and taking off the headboard so we can actually open the windows. It’s still my monica closet but seeing the room in a new light has given me fresh perspective for the week so I think things are looking up (and it’s not merely because i can finally see the actual bed in here 🙃).
