Their sweet voices at the end melt me… 🥹

I am forever grateful for how we get to spend our days right now, it is my dream come true. I put a lot of thought and prayer in to our schedule and routines and have had to learn to trust my gut on what’s best for our little fam.

We love slow mornings playing in the playroom, park days and playdates, picnics and going to the library. Our days are full of back yard fun, walks, lunch with daddy, FaceTime with family, games and puzzles, snuggles and stories, cooking and lots of time together.

We set up my dream school room back in March and I pinch myself when we’re in there together having fun and learning. (I plan on sharing a school room tour soon!)

Most days are loud and chaotic, but some moments are sweet and calm like this one, either way, these are the days. 🩵🩵

If you’ve followed me for long you have seen how I set up our daily busy boxes during the week with @themagicplaybook activities. Charlie asks for his activities like clockwork and it is such an important part of our routine for the both of us. Now that he’s 3, I always thought I’d be enrolling him in some sort of preschool program, but the truth is, I don’t want to! We have been praying about this decision for awhile and we are officially doing preschool at home. We are so excited and I think it is the best choice for our family. I love spending my days with him, and he loves spending his days with me. I know these days are numbered and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to have this time with my boys.

Check out my Reels for a closer look at how I organize our homeschool cart, I know I will tweak things as we find what works for us. I love that I can roll the cart around in our home and it stores everything I need perfectly.

Let me know if you’d like me to share more about the curriculum we chose and what our days will look like. This summer, we are going to use @thegoodandthebeautiful Science for Little Hearts and Minds. Charlie loves being outdoors and learning about nature and I love that it is simple and includes read aloud stories.

I’m pretending tomorrow is our first day of preschool at home because I love a good reason to celebrate! 🍎🎉 I started preschool at home with Charlie a couple of months ago and it’s been going so well. Both boys will be home with me this fall and I am so excited for this time that we will have together! 🤍

I used my @cricut Joy to add the boys’ names to the white caddy’s from the @target dollar section.
