Laundry room essentials! We’ve tried so many different tips and “systems” to get a handle on the laundry. Motherhood, postpartum especially if you have a spitter-upper, welcomed volumes of laundry I never knew was possible. These animal cracker cookies are so easy, and fun to make! I used GF flour (@bobsredmill) and adjusted the recipe a couple times to get a softer texture. I don’t typically bake with white sugar, especially if it’s for the kids. I like using natural sweeteners like date sugar, honey, or pure maple syrup, but hey if that’s not your thing, go ahead and replace what I have below with what sweetener you want! If you’re using all-purpose flour, it might come out dense or diffferent… when in doubt, add more butter 🧈 (hehe semi joking! I don’t bake with all purpose flour so I have no idea🫣😆)

9 tablespoons butter (at room temperature)
¼ cup date sugar
2 tablespoons honey
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1.5 cups of GF flour (@bobsredmill)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Bake at 350 for 10-15 mins depending on thickness.

Love these mixing bowls. Lightweight, many sizes, easy to clean.

Super love this handheld vacuum! Great suction and attachments. My toddler even loves it! She will go find it to use, turn it on herself, and walks around the house cleaning with it! She thinks she’s playing - win win!

These glasses are so cute and actually have a great feel to them. Not too light and thin, feels sturdy without being heavy. They come with reusable straws too and cleaning brushes.

We always get our avocado oil from costco in a big container so these oil dispensers are so great. I got the larger size option.

And yup, I did it too. I love the power strip boxes that hide all your plugs, plus e these are so cute! The green color, and detail on the side. It really brings a modern and sleek look to a space.

Happy December! I’m so excited to start our advent tradition because this year, my eldest (3.5) is able to understand more of what Christmas is all about. It’s so fun! Our advent calendar is from @gathre, and instead of filling the pocket with gifts, we fill them with our wooden characters from the Nativity scene. We read parts of the Christmas story using our Bibles (we love starting out with reading from My First Bible and Prayers from @cottagedoorpress) and we also use the free download pdf advent guide from @faithgateway for the children’s @SallyLloydJones The Jesus Storybook Bible @jesus_storybook_bible. (I’ll link in my stories). You also see some folded paper in the pockets because those reveal its a book day! Each Saturday and Sunday, the kids get to unwrap a new book - we choose books like Bluey Christmas, The Year of the Perfect Christmas Tree, Toot& Puddle. I’ll try to post about book day on my stories to show what books we choose this year. Most of all, we are wishing you and your family a great holiday season, and a wonderful start to your December ✨We hope its filled with love and light!
