Creating the table decor for the Holidays has always been such a special hobby for me. I can remember even as a young girl helping my mom set the table for a regular week night for our family was so important to me. It helped me too feel like a grown up! So now that I officially am a grown up (or so they tell me.. haha) I put a lot more thought and energy into my table settings, but still love every single moment of it! This year I had the pleasure of hosting our Friendsgiving so of course I decided to make a real production of it. I got to work with a few of my favorite companies to create a styled shoot type vibe that showcases all the amazing work they do.

I had some questions on the linens I used here. They are cheesecloth that I ordered on Amazon and died myself with Ritdye. I ordered it all on amazon and shared them in my Instagram stories of how the dye went. To get the light color I suggest using VERY little dye and following the instructions exactly. I ended up dyeing mine twice. The first time the pink came out too bright and I washed them with hot water several times to get it a little lighter and used those inside on the charcuterie board and drink station. I wanted them lighter on the table so I did it again and used verrrrrrry little dye! I used a mix of the petal pink color -HERE- and the tan -HERE-. The exact cheesecloth I used is -HERE-. I needed 2 for the table and napkins and 2 for inside.

Centerpieces

This is a long story... but to make it short I was trying to create a centerpiece on my own. Now that we moved to a new state, I no longer have my amazing florist who did all my centerpieces. Lets just say its harder than you would think to find new go-to people in a new place, especially when your past network knows you so well. When out at the super markets I found that they had OLD flowers. My sweet florist from Cali went the extra mile for me and found and called a local florist in the Woodlands without me knowing and had them piece together a beautiful flower arrangement just the way I would like it based on my inspo pictures. I love the leafy elements of the arrangement against the soft pastel colors of the flowers. It gives it beautiful natural elements! I filled around the arrangement with my new candlesticks and taper candles. I wasn't sure what color I wanted with taper candles for this table but I ordered an orange shade on Amazon. With a delivery hiccup on my order I was forced to run to Target the morning of and instead went with a burgundy red, and the color worked perfectly as if it was meant to be.
