I just got this sweater in from Quince, and I immediately put it on! It is 100% cotton, so soft and perfect for spring and summer to throw on over dresses or in the office. It comes in several colors and is very affordable for the quality.

My 30-Day Capsule Wardrobe Experiment ✨
Week 1 Recap

One week in, and I’m loving the simplicity of getting dressed from a smaller section of my closet — if you’re new here, I am on a pursuit of simplicity in many areas of my life, including my closet.

But…I’m learning.
➖ I didn’t include enough mom-life pieces for my off days
➖ Forgot a dressier option for things like Mother’s Day (had to add one in!)
➖ I need a little color in the mix 🎨 next time, I will add a few more pops of color in the pieces.

I’m learning as I go over here. I did find the importance of picking a“base” (for me: a tee + jeans or shorts). Then you accessorize and build off that base.

What I learned this week.

This is a TRIAL capsule wardrobe. I am allowing myself to switch out pieces as I see what I do and do not wear. I am also learning what I wish I had added.

What I switched out:
- I traded my white linen blazer for my @onequince cardigan. It can still elevate any outfit like a blazer, but I can also dress it down more than I can a linen blazer.

What I Wish I Added:
- as the temps heat up here in NC, I am wishing I had included a pair of denim jean shorts🩳. I love my white shorts, but they are not ideal for going to soccer practice with my cheez it munching, popsicle wanting toddlers.
