Listen, you don’t need a whole new outfit for going out with friends or date night just because it’s a new season. One of my favorite combinations is a great pair of dark wash jeans, and a simple top.

The thing that really makes it feel seasonally appropriate are the accessories. Swap the boot for a sexy heeled sandal. And ditch your boring leather bag for a straw one. These are usually easier swaps to make than overhauling your whole outfit.

3 Easy Spring Transition Outfit Formulas To Try

Light wash jeans with sneakers and a cropped spring jacket. Add a baseball hat or triangle scarf for a little interest.

Dresses or skirts with knee-high boots, a favorite way to ease into spring and still get more use out of those fall and winter boots.

5 Things I Can’t Wait To Wear AGAIN From Last Spring - Part Three

The poplin skirt was my most unexpected fashion favorite last year. While these can sometimes feel like you’re cosplaying as a mennonite, there’s aw ayt o style them to make them feel COOL.

I like to style them with a graphic tee or sweatshirt, fashion sneaker or simple sandal. A fitted tee or tank and fashion-forward bag go a long way too. Or even try a vest, and leave that bottom button undone!
