Winter outfits don't have to be boring black and grey. They can have a little something fun without it being ALL BOLD COLORS. Trust me!

Try olive green leather gloves with leopard scarves. Swap out your boring socks with loafers for a slight print. Pair baby blue scarves and beanies with navy, burgundy and brown for a totally new look and feel. And don't forget about baseball caps, triangle scarves and sweatshirts over the shoulders (that can double as a scarf).

HOW TO TIE A TRIANGLE SCARF

This is my favorite way to tie a triangle scarf as it doesn't get too bulky.

Step One
Take one end of the triangle scarf and wrap it around your fingers in one loop. Then stick the end through it, but don't pull. Basically a loose open single knot. Keep your fingers in the loop for step 2.

Step Two
Take the other end of the triangle scarf and place it through the open knot/loop you just made, then pull.

Triangle scarves are the perfect winter accessory. Wear them over your blazers or sweaters, or over coats.
