Unique ways to customize your curb appeal.

Until today, I never imagined I could develop such adoration for a mailbox. Yet here I am, utterly smitten.

Sometimes, opting for a new piece with a touch of vintage charm is the more practical choice. Although I've dreamed of having a quaint vintage or antique mailbox adorning my curb, the reality is that despite my efforts I wasn’t able to find one that whispered “I’m the one,” fit my budget, met the modern day requirements of the postal service, and the functionality for packages.

The new one exceeded my expectations in how it compliments our 1912 home and extends the historic charm out to the curbside.

I ordered this custom made sign for the outside of our 1912 home with the name of the family that built it. With several styles as well as colors, the options to customize one for your space is endless. The seller was extremely helpful and willing to customize the sign exactly how I wanted. The addition of this window film to my primary bathroom added privacy and an English home feel that’s functional and old world. It was easy to apply and has stayed strong through 100 degree temps to single digits. I added it to the three windows in this room and plan to add it to the other bathroom in my home

Instead of hanging my Christmas lights on the outside of the windows this year, I hung them on the inside using suction cup light holders. The look creates a star pattern that feels whimsical and carefree.

This year, I’ve decided to keep the candles in the windows through Winter, perhaps even all year long. The glow is inviting and adds a touch of warmth during these cold nights

With Spring on the horizon, I’m looking forward to using my rocking chairs again. I’ve had these for over three years now and love them.
