The top 3 things that caught my eye when we saw our house for the first time: •The backyard! Every open house we’d go to, I would go straight to the backyard first thing. I guess I cared a tad bit more about the outside than the inside🤷‍♀️ I was crossing my fingers we’d find a place with a pool or jacuzzi, this place luckily had both! The backyard was also low maintenance which was very ideal. All we have to do now are some light updates. Starting with removing this golf course 🔨 Although, it’s kinda growing on me but no! •The bones and layout of the house. I knew I wanted an open space one-story. We just had to knock down a wall and a 70s bar that was randomly placed in the middle. This opened up the space dramatically. •The location. I’m happy we found a home close enough but not too close to the city (LA) and my family.
