Business casual capsule wardrobe! Everything you need in your work wardrobe:

-Blazers, I like an oversized blazer in black, gray or beige or any other neutral color. I usually get a size medium, but like to size up to a large and some blazers like at Zara.
-Dress pants. These are the best pants for your business casual wardrobe. My favourite pants are the Aritzia effortless pants. These are a high-rise tailored wide leg pants and they come in many colors, including white, black, brown, gray and tan. My other favourite pants are the Abercrombie Sloan pants that are very similar to the Aritzia ones. They also have lots of sales!
-Then you need some basic tops like solid color, tank tops and T-shirts. My favourite tank top is the Aritzia sculpt knit tank with the square neck. My favourite T-shirts are the Aritzia function T-shirt, or the Uniqlo basic T-shirt.
-Then you need some layering pieces. This could be something like a cardigan, a short jacket, a leather jacket or a button up shirt in a nice material.
-For winter time, crewneck sweaters are great.
-Also, for winter time wearing a sweater dress and a pair of boots and tights also makes a great easy outfit.
-Maxi and midi skirts and dresses are also very easy to throw on and pair with other things in your closet like basic tees and tanks and jackets.

1. The Aritzia effortless pants. These are a wide leg high rise tailored pant. They come in many colours, materials, and lengths. I have size 8 long.
2. A black slightly oversized blazer. Similar options linked here as min in no longer available.
3. A cardigan. I’ve linked a few of my favourite knit and pattered cardigans here. Very easy to style with work pants and a T-shirt.
4. The Abercrombie Sloane pants. Another high rise tailored trouser. A great option that comes in lots of colours and sizes. I have a size 29 long.
5. Short sleeved sweaters. The first is a fitted grey sweater, the second is an oversized blue sweater. Both are from Abercrombie and a size medium.

A dress is the best option for summer as it is one piece that looks amazing when matched with accessories!

You could also try a dress that cinches in at the waist so it still has the same silhouette, and with buttons going up the dress so you still get to show some leg. This Old Navy collared, A-Line pop line mini dress is the perfect spring teacher dress. It’s long enough and has pockets! It’s great styled with cardigans, denim jackets, and with boots, flats, and sneakers!

I got a size medium, and it fits true to size. It comes in black, Kelly green, white, and a blue and white stripe.

Five spring items I would immediately buy again if I was starting my spring wardrobe from scratch!

1. A trench coat. This could be a double or single breasted trench in a neutral colour. The perfect spring layer! My first coat is the Diana coat from Aritzia, I have a medium. My second coat is the oversized trench from Oak + Fort, and I have a size medium and the colour brindle.

2. A pair of wide leg linen trousers in a light colour. These are very comfortable and easy to pair with everything! Mine are the Norah linen pants from Dissh, and I have a size 8.

3. The perfect pair of denim! For me this is a pair of high rise wide leg medium wash jeans. Try to hold out for the pair that fit you perfectly! Mine are the Mother denim Dodger Sneak jeans in the colour strike a pose in a size 28. Similar options linked.

4. A poplin mini dress in a neutral colour. This will go under everything, and it looks great on its own! Mine is the collared poplin mini dress from Old Navy, I have a size medium.

5. A pair of tie-front linen trousers. These are easy to wear and can be worn with everything! Mine are black loose tie-front linen trousers from H&M in a medium.
