Finally got a chance to update our tv wall. I originally had some shelves from IKEA hanging above the wall, but it just didn’t make a statement like I wanted it too. I picked up this mantle from @wayfair and it was stained in this red oak color, so I sanded it down so it would be closer to the color of the tv console I already had.

Wade had to leave after we took the older shelves down and I was able to hang the mantle all by myself 💪🏾

I located all five studs in the wall and mounted the wall piece the mantle attached to first. This mantle is super secured to the wall so I don’t have to worry about it falling and hurting anyone or damaging our tv.

I hung an art piece from @target and printed out a large print I purchased off @etsy . Of course I added in some cute metal framed photos I took for our kids birthday this year from @artifactuprising

I think it looks so much better and I can’t wait to change it up for the holidays! ✨ What do you think? Does a mantle work over a TV?

#AD I found what our bedroom has been missing and it was this gorgeous rug from @coveredbyrugs The Bobby Berk Luna Moss Rug really warms up our Primary bedroom and adds just a bit more color to the space. This Luxury @karastanrugs is also made of Wool and is very easy to clean. It has a geometric pattern which works well with my mid-century dresser and vanity. It’s so soft and really completes our space.

Cool shower curtains to try this hack!

I love when people come to visit us at our home. So making a space that will keep people coming back is what I’m trying to achieve in our new home. Little details like: a nice bed, sound machine, and now this gorgeous luggage rack from @stayluggageracks #gifted

This luggage rack named the Cathy is made with high gloss lacquer with custom gold metal caps and high end woven straps.

Now our guests have somewhere there can put their luggage on when they come to our house and our house just got a few steps closer to mimicking a 5 star hotel! I love the beautiful details this rack has and it fits so perfectly with the decor in our guest room.

I did another small update to our home to help make it feel more put together. #AD With help from @walmart and their new exclusive home decor line by GAP HOME, I was able to update our guest bathroom to have a more grown up feel. I added just a few items to the space (bath rug, toiletry holders, cotton shower curtain, and some new towels. I love the way the space feels now and can’t wait to have guest over to use it.

New Playroom update with help from our new @ducducnyc indi bench! The baskets are all from @target and the black ones were in the bullseyes spot area. The curtains really helped define this space and I’m so happy with how everything turned out.
