Glass is something you can always find at a thrift store - adding a candle or flowers is the perfect way to turn it into an elevated, affordable decor piece!

Another favorite thrifted find is this woven basket - perfect for shoe storage by the door!

Love piles of books on a coffee table - I find this so chic! Also shoutout to @vintageflamingogpt for this gorgeous chest 😍 one of my favorite pieces in the cottage

Styling the living room at the coastal cottage! Most of what you’re seeing (with the exception of the upholstered furniture) is thrifted - I really wanted this home to feel collected - it was built in 1948 and I wanted to honor that!

I love that thrifting and collecting isn’t only budget friendly, it’s also a way to connect with local sellers and shops in your in community, and it offers unique finds with a story!

I’ll be sharing more details on some of these thrifted finds in my stories - I’d love to connect and hear about some of your thrifting adventures too!

So excited to officially reveal the kitchen at the coastal cottage 🌊 Its been so satisfying to finally see the hours of thrifting and planning come together to make this kitchen come to life!

To help save on costs and keep the original character of the home, we kept the base cabinets (just painted them!) and removed the upper cabinets and replaced with these floating shelves - I love the collected feel of having dishes on display, perfect for a cottage!

We also added an eat-in kitchen nook since this was unused space in the kitchen - the bench is just 2 target storage benches put together! It’s worked perfectly and given some much needed storage space

One of the biggest changes we made in the cottage was turning this old utility closet into a small (but mighty!) 2nd bathroom - so happy with how it turned out!

Finally focusing on getting this back room ready - this cozy space off the kitchen is my favorite room in the cottage - the shutters and wall paneling sold me!

This console was another @vintageflamingogpt find - one of my favorite pieces of furniture in the house! Finding these chairs at Goodwill made my month

The kitchen corner of my dreams! Have always wanted a breakfast nook - I just pushed together 2 of these target storage benches and it’s worked out perfectly!
