The most perfect transitional trousers and lightweight jacket you’ll ever find 😍 you girls know I LOVE a good pair of wide leg trousers and these comfy beauties did not disappoint! They have a matching long sleeve top which makes the perfect autumnal co ord but I’ve styled it with a simple white tank and trainers for a look that is more late summer (you could also swap your trainers out for chunky black sandals). Then pop on this gorge lightweight cropped trench coat for a more ‘early autumn’ outfit 💁🏼‍♀️

NEW STYLING SERIES ✨ girlsss I am never shy about how much I love autumn (hate the AW germs mind, but the fashion just slays every season tbh)… and I’ve started picking up my autumn bits now because I am not missing out on these beauties come September/October 💁🏼‍♀️

So I thought I’d do a little mini series showing you how I’m styling my more autumnal/transitional pieces for NOW and for early autumn to get the most wear out of your clothes ❤️ let’s make our wardrobes work that little bit harder this AW girlies because these autumn pieces deserve their spotlight to last longer 😍

Today I’m showing you guys how to style a faux suede chocolate brown blazer for late summer into early autumn 💁🏼‍♀️

Summer: style with lighter fabrics like linen, roll up the sleeves to make it feel less heavy and keep your accessories super summer feeling ✨

Early autumn: swap the linen out for denim, wide leg just always feels more premium, layer with gold jewellery, style with trainers for a more ‘effortless and casual’ feel and swap out the raffia for leather look bags (I love to match my blazer to my bag and shoes to keep the look super tonal) 👌🏻

A week worth of comfy and cute non ‘mumsy’ everyday mum outfits for UK summer weather 🌸

Let face it, mum life is CHAOS and it is SO easy to forget about yourself and start slipping into the same old leggings and baggy tshirt combo and wondering why you’re feeling a bit s**t about yourself and don’t want to do anything. Don’t get me wrong I still have my leggings and tee days, of course I do! BUT I’ve started to try and show up for myself more too and have fun getting dressed again!

For me fashion and styling is what I love, it’s how I express who I am and losing myself post partum had me feeling like I had no idea how to dress! Then one day something just clicked, I started to find confidence in myself and my style again, I wear what I love, I add colour to my outfits because it makes me feel happy, I think leopard print is basically a neutral in my books and you can never have enough colour full trainers, oh and elastic waistbands + me = lifelong friends 💁🏼‍♀️ which is why my white Sundies skirt is one of my worst worn pair of bottoms ever 😍

Life is too short to wear the clothes that make you feel like 💩, so just go for it and get your confidence back ❤️

RIVER ISLAND TRY ON HAUL ✨ girls I found some gorge new summer bits on River Island - and I HAD to show you 😍

I mean the lemon yellow waistcoat is just the CUTEST fit and with jeans and some chunky sandals it’s such a fab ‘jeans and a nice top’ outfit 🍋

I also LOVED the white tshirt maxi dress, it felt like such a good elevated basic for summer and would come back around next year as it’s so timeless!

Im sorry but also, how CUTE are the two broderie mini dresses 😍 I’d never usually opt for the colours in either tbh but on they look soooo nice! So chuffed with this haul tbh, some gorgeous finds 😍
