Want the secret to beautiful shelf styling? Here are 3 tips I use every time:

1. Mix heights and shapes.
Using items that are different heights gives the shelves variety. Pair taller pieces like vases, artwork, or cutting boards with shorter items like candles or bowls to create balance.

2. Layer pieces
Instead of placing everything in a single row, layer objects in front of one another. Lean artwork or boards against the wall, then place smaller decor pieces in front. This adds depth and makes shelves feel less staged.

3. Use cohesive colors and materials
Choose a few colors and finishes to repeat throughout the shelves. In these spaces, warm wood tones, brass accents, glass, and soft neutrals appear throughout, creating a collected look that feels intentional.
