My adorable (and functional 😜) new salt cellar deserves a post! I’ve wanted one for a while, so I could feel like a cool chef, but have always done just fine with our old salt grinder. We stocked up on some of @altonbrown’s favorite kosher salt and it’s too small to use with the grinder so it was time to find my perfect salt container! I wanted one with a cover and spoon that fit inside so I wouldn’t constantly have salt under my nails. Apparently this was a very hard request for under $25. I searched online and a few Home Goods and ended up with one from Crate & Barrel. It was my first choice but I didn’t want to pay $6 for shipping, so I kept searching. In the end, my Mom, sister and I went for a drive this weekend so I could pick it up - after going to Marshalls and Home Goods to browse, of course! Next on my list: a yeast spoon so I can easily scoop out 2 1/4 teaspoons when I’m baking! Ha ha. (I want @kingarthurbaking’s canister and spoon set, but can’t bring myself to spend $23 just yet.
