Would you believe that this elegance started here and only took THREE DIY elements to transform it? It only took 3 DIYs(dare I say beginner friendly AND weekend friendly) to completely transform this boring powder room into something that screams elegance. I have more tips on all three of these DIYs posted as reels just a few back. Be sure to check those out because all of these are ideas that can be applied to any room transformation. Now, I’ll grant you that we had the major elements in place - floor, sink, light fixture. (All of which were also DIY’d a couple of years ago for what it’s worth) BUT. It doesn’t have to be super complicated or involve building lots of things or be crazy expensive to add upgrades to your home. There is NO WAY I’m keeping this to myself. This is the *C-U-T-E-S-T* rechargeable wall sconce I’ve ever seen. I mean the little pleated shade look?! Would you call this colorful or boring beige? I think this is a pretty good take on a colorful room with a neutral backdrop. I think it’s interesting that there seems to be a swing in the design world and in home decor towards more color and I’m here for it. I think a neutral room can be so pretty but I’ve always been drawn more to a neutral BACKDROP that I can layer color on top of and change as I please. For this third nursery I did just that and I love it.
