Using a foam and moisturizing hair cream has been my go to product combo for curl definition for a while now but…

Now, I’m falling in love with gels.

Gels give me that frizz free curl that can withstand any humidity level because of the “ gel cast” it gives.

It even holds definition when I separate my twists too many times or make create large twists.

Which (for me) would be a problem using only cream or foam.

That means I get longer wear out of my styles! 🙌🏾🙌🏾

Since I’m currently in the process of teaching my daughter how to style her own natural hair, I wanted to make quick and simple hairstyles available to anyone else who is just starting out on their natural hair journey or just in need of a quick style idea.

A touch of color always makes a go-to style better!

Here’s my technique:

Once your twists are created, apply the hair, make up by twisting in the same direction as the twist focusing on the ends only. I like to apply it about an inch or so from the ends.

2. Doesn’t transfer to clothing
3. Is curls safe.
