I like to use aluminum pans when I paint. 1) They fit the size of my roller. 2) I can pour unused paint right back into the can. 3) They are disposable!🙌

Week 7 of the One Room Challenge found us applying more edgebanding and really pulling the bed together. Once we had the bed built, we had to take all of the hardware off to paint.

Week 6 of the One Room Challenge I discovered a love for edgebanding the plywood boards. It makes the boards look finished instead of the raw edge of plywood. It reminded me of ironing on hemming tape.💕

Week 5 of the One Room Challenge wasn’t a pretty one but it was a busy one! This is when we cut the lumber and started building the bed frame.

I found this chair before I even started cleaning out the room for the One Room Challenge or started picking paint colors. I put it on hold at a little store called Marigold Vintage and picked it up the following weekend! It is one of my favorite parts of the room!

In Week 3 of the One Room Challenge I was working on trying to choose the paint for this north facing room. I used a pillow from my living room and a runner to start pulling the vibe together with a little help from my sweet Coconut!🐈

What have we been up to the last 8 weeks? Making over this seldom used bedroom that had turned into a junk room!🙌 We are turning it into a combo office/bedroom by adding a Murphy bed that Doug and I built from scratch! We still want to put in bookcases and refinish the library table I will use for a desk so be on the lookout for that! You can shop my sources here!

It’s Week 1 of the One Room Challenge! I’m turning a cluttered bedroom that’s been used as a storage room into a home office/guest room for the One Room Challenge. We are going to build a Murphy bed and add bookcases. I’m so excited! Stay tuned to see this plan come to life!
