Welcome back to Part 3 of my mom’s bedroom makeover! 🤎

Last week we color drenched the room to create that cozy boutique hotel feel, built all of her new furniture, and started adding the custom details that make the space feel like her.

With all of the beautiful brass accents throughout the space, it only made sense to swap out the old wall plates for my favorite brass wall plates from @amerelledecor.

It’s one of those small upgrades that instantly makes a room feel more custom and elevated.

I loved them so much, I added them throughout my own home too.

Sometimes it's the smallest details that make the biggest impact.

Turning my mom's bedroom into the cozy retreat she deserves has been one of my favorite projects yet.

Last week we transformed the space with rich brown walls, new furniture, and layered bedding.

This week was all about the custom details that truly made it feel like her.

The finishing touch? Custom @twopagescurtains curtains & motorized roman shades!

Here’s exactly what I ordered:

Liz Linen Drape Pleated | Color: Oak Dim Gray | Memory Shaped Pinch Pleat | Blackout Liner

The difference the right window treatments make is incredible. They blend seamlessly into the walls, make the ceilings feel taller, and instantly give the room that custom, designer look.
I also chose a blackout liner since my mom works the night shift, so she can finally get the quality sleep she deserves.

Watching her reaction made every second of this project worth it.
She told me she's never slept better, and knowing I was able to create a cozy retreat just for her means everything to me.

Not to be dramatic, but your bed might be missing the one layer that makes it look like a luxury hotel. 🤍

Everyone remembers the sheets and duvet, but the real secret is adding a quilt. It instantly adds texture, depth, and that cozy, high-end look.

I layered the Bamboo Linen Quilt from @wdcozy with the matching shams, added their cotton muslin blanket for even more texture, and finished it off with a cable knit throw to tie all the colors in the room together. It's amazing what a few intentional layers can do.

One of my favorite finishing touches in a room is a beautiful table lamp from @lighting_design_company, and this one checks every box. 🤍
I fell in love with the soft blush glass base, elegant brass accents, and timeless silhouette.
It gives off the prettiest warm glow and instantly makes the space feel more elevated and cozy.

Welcome to day 2 of building my amazing mama her dream bathroom.

Last week we added panel molding and it completely changed the space.

This week? Paint, tile, and all the cozy vintage details she loves. We went with the prettiest shade of green on the bottom half, creamy white on top, and it already feels like a different space. For the floors, I skipped the budget-busting tile and went with a vintage black + white peel & stick.

I swapped in new vanity knobs, brass handles, brass sconces, fluffy towels... and a little gallery wall of her pets (plus Sammie, obviously). & I'm sharing my hack for hiding an ugly shower door.
