I LOVE puzzles - here are some favorites, along with the puzzle board I now can’t live without.

Someone on Instagram asked recently for a list of favorite spring puzzles and... they didn’t have to ask me twice!

I love a good puzzle and they’re so fun to take along on spring break or work on at home (and they make great Easter basket gifts!).

Here are some of my favorite spring puzzles!

A few years ago, I realized I needed some hobbies that recharged me (rather than hobbies that tend to be draining like doomscrolling or binge watching a show). I started doing more puzzles and now, after long and stressful days I love to unwind with a favorite puzzle and an audiobook. Here are a few favorites, plus my puzzle board and the excellent book on this topic, The Power of Fun.

One of the things I love about puzzles is that I can look at a puzzle box and instantly remember what I listened to while I worked on it. That combination of doing something tactile with a strong visual component AND listening really makes an impact on my brain! Here are the puzzles I most enjoyed doing in 2024!

For the past 5 years, I've thought a puzzle board was totally silly. But now I'm obsessed! I love being able to move the puzzle off our table when we need to eat or want to play a game. (It's also great for building Legos without them taking over your table!)

I do puzzles year round, but once the weather starts to cool down and the days get shorter, I REALLY start to crank through them. There’s just something so cozy about a cozy evening with a good audiobook and a beautiful puzzle. Here are some of my favorite fall puzzles!

This is my third summer doing puzzles on our covered patio outside! Add in an audiobook and kids playing in the backyard and I’m in summer heaven! See my favorite summer puzzles below!

I love a good Christmas jigsaw puzzle and this one is my absolute favorite, both because it’s so fun and because it was such a sweet thoughtful gift from a friend.

Add a festive audiobook and this is peak Christmas happiness for me!
