Do you ever feel restless for change? That’s where I am right now. Now hear me out before you go calling me crazy 😂 We have started the grueling process of moving the kitchen to the dining room. We had originally had planned to move the dining room where the kitchen was, buuuuut….. and yes, I’m blaming this on Rick 😂 after not having a dining room for some time, I got the wild idea to move the living room to where the new dining room would be. Following me so far? Now, this would mean moving the dining room to where our living room currently is. Our current living room is a fairly large space. The would be dining room is, well, not! 😂 it’s about half the size. It’s in the middle of the house, so it would be a lot quieter (we live on a busy hwy). For me, it would be cozier because of the small space. Plus, the dining room would now hold a much larger table that would line up beautifully with the fireplace. Can you imagine Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners (if we are ever able to gather again). There would also be a space to add a quaint library corner! Happy Wednesday friends! I haven’t shared this view in what seems like forever. It looks like a totally different space with the fireplace being painted! That little chandelier was a Mother’s Day gift from my 3 oldest kids, years and years ago. It isn’t on trend at the moment, but I can’t ever imagine changing it out. I need a new little round jute rug for this space because my kitties decided to destroy my last one 😑 I’d also like to add a small round pedestal table. Or Do you scatter through out the house: living room while watching tv, etc? Or Is it mostly self serve? When my 3 older children were home, we sat together around the dinner table, often times with a handful of their friends as well. I don’t know when we stopped doing that? Happy Monday friends! I don’t know that I’ve ever shared this view of the sofa!?! We’ve had it for a little over a month now, and we have to say, we are shocked! It was just supposed to be a temporary fix until we could order the sofa we wanted. Y’all, this convertible couch was $269 at Walmart! It’s so much more comfortable thank the Ektorp sectional from IKEA! SO much more comfortable! It was a little stiff at first, but it has broken in nicely. As a matter of fact, we’ve been sleeping on it for a couple weeks now because we don’t have a/c in our bedroom, and the temps have been unbearable. It was definitely a happy accident! I say this, because we ordered a sofa w/ chaise from Amazon, and well, let’s just say that didn’t work out 😐 If you have limited space, and need a sleeper for guests, this is your couch! It comes in several different colors. @walmart to the rescue! Happy Wednesday Friends Is it just me, or has this been the longest week ever!??? We are still working on switching bedrooms with our middle son, and by me, I mean Rick and Lain 😂 Tomorrow is remove part of a wall, rip up carpet, and paint day!
