Oh boy friends. We’ve never been more excited for the weekend. This is the time of year I really wish I were a morning person. School routines don’t come easy to this summer loving crew and school not only started before Labor Day this year, it now starts 10 minutes earlier than last year. I’m going to need a better alarm clock. So our Labor Day plans basically consist of sleeping. And building Lego storage but mostly sleeping. Are you doing anything fun?

The memory travel wall. A year ago today we were coming home from Denmark. And today we’re making memories with family in California. Never underestimate a gallery wall that inspires you to explore more with your littles.

Happy Friday night!! Schools out for the summer which means our nook is about to get even more use! Glue, paper, markers…all the things! We’re down a chair as I hauled it upstairs to use as a desk chair. But more garden shed work is happening this weekend so fingers crossed I’ll be out of the closet and in the garden soon! On another design note, I finally decided on a material for a bench cushion which will make it a whole lot more cozy! Do you have any fun plans weekend plans?

A teeny tiny powder room but a cutie at that.

We went to the garden center last weekend to get some more strawberries. Matt moved the strawberry tower that had been in my garden to the berry cage so we can *hopefully* get some unnibbled strawberries this year. Darn chipmunks. Long story short, those pretty topiaries jumped in the cart. And the breakfast nook is not sad about it.

Our breakfast nook is really a dinner nook, and a craft nook and a Lego airplane runway—all the things but breakfast. We can barely make it to school on time let alone sit leisurely around a table. I was not made for mornings. But dinner, now that I can pull off.
