I love a Swanson thriller! 9 people receive a cryptic letter in the mail with no return address, just a piece of paper with 9 names on it. Theirs included. Slowly these people start turning up murdered and the remaining people on the list can’t figure out how or why they’re all connected. It felt very Agatha Christie and many moments were credited to her! I also love the little Easter eggs that connect his past books to this one with the hotel, town, and character mentions! #thriller #recentreads
My kind of thriller!! I love a domestic thriller with marital issues, cheating husband, and murder. The husbands mistress is discovered brutally murdered in the couples lake house and the search is on as to who is responsible. The author got me a few times when I was pretty convinced I had the twist pegged but in the end I didn’t see it coming!! #thriller #reads #books
I love a twisty mystery! Told from the perspective of the reporter who’s in town covering the story of a missing woman, she is very close to uncovering the truth. A religious, mom of two, seemingly had it all together wife goes missing while on a run and it sends the tiny town into a frenzy over what could have happened. I love all the twists and turns the reporting took, and loved the way it all wrapped up. #recentreads #books #thriller
