i finally bought my dream Christmas tree!!!!! we got the 9ft one but it also comes in 7.5ft!

- integrated mini lights
- various light settings and colors
- realistic branches
- aesthetic design
- not sparse

my favorite thing is at the lights are integrated in the tree and they’re really small so they look whimsical like fairy lights! and you don’t have to deal with wrapping the tree or dealing with any plugs which was always my least favorite thing to do.

how i made my “vintage” gold frame from scratch!

1. create a base for your painting to sit into using 2x2s, wood glue, and screws
2. create a frame using decorative moulding
3. miter the corners and glue them together
4. coat in gold wax first, then antiquing wax
5. use wood glue to attach the frame to the base
6. secure the canvas into the base and add hanging wire
7. you’re done!!

Finally after 6 months, my custom couch arrived!! And trust me, there’s still sooooo much left to do in this apartment, it’s not even close to being done. But I’m excited about this big step.

I did a left arm sofa and right arm chaise in the performance EverydaySuede fabric, color “Stone”.

This is the 113.5” width and is perfect for a small apartment or living room.

I love the modern style of it, especially the wide arm rests. It has adjustable legs which can also be taken off if you want.

I love my new prints!! I put them on a skinny wall in my kitchen and thought this was the perfect way to add some color to the kitchen. I also feel like these prints give off a European feeling which is just the feeling I want when I’m cooking all my meals, esp this summer :)

My favorite way to display art or prints is with a mat board that’s thicker than the wooden frame. It feels more modern and clean to me.

I also made sure to match the wood color with the kitchen cabinets and my dining table. 🤍

Nest Fragrances are constantly in rotation around my apartment. This scent is the Himalayan salt and rose water from their wellness line and it’s such a beautiful scent. Not too strong, and super relaxing.

The thing my kitty is standing on is a meditation pillow from Walden. They come in a bunch of different colors and it’s $145. It’s filled with all natural buckwheat-hull fill and a gel memory foam top layer (it’s so comfy!)

My new teak stool!! It’s so beautiful and I love the organic edges of each piece of wood. It’s solid wood so it’s on the heavier side and completely sturdy.
