I love both the Henley style top and the tie waist on this dress! So flattering. I styled it with a simple pair of Veja shoes. They are always so cute and comfortable.

This backpack is under $25 and has the greatest quilted pattern. It looks much more expensive than it is!

A poplin button-down poplin is an absolute staple for the fall season! They are truly my favorite layering pieces. I layered this one with an olive vest. Personally, I would keep the vest open and maybe even add a belt under it!

A solid pair of combat boots and a good tote bag are both investment pieces worth having.

You can't go wrong with a floral midi dress. This one has a dainty tie cutout around the ribcage and puff sleeves that flatter without being over the top. Pairing a leather jacket (this one is under $100) with a floral dress adds some contrast, which I love.

I love the little pop of color these mules bring to this otherwise very neutral outfit!

Olive is all the rage this season! I love that this dress is structured. It allows it to be worn during the day with some sneakers or dresses up with some heels for night.

I paired this dress with an unstructured tote to give it a little more of a casual feel. This tote is the perfect fall bag for your day to day needs! Love a good relaxed find.

I love the Clueless vibes this outfit gives off … which definitely means the early 00s are really back! The collar on this sweater makes the whole look feel more sophisticated and pulled together. Of the four, I think this may be my favorite outfit today.

I love this Amazon top find and skirt together so much! The high waist on the skirt and the cropped tie of the blouse really complement each other so well. I love the idea of a silk scarf around the neck or in the hair with this look to add some color and really pull the whole piece together!

Typically, I have a hard and fast rule about not mixing patterns in an outfit. For these shorts, though, I made an exception. The design is faint and I really think the style of them pulls the look off! I kept the purse and booties basic and neutral, and then threw in some colored earrings for some flare. The perfect look for a dinner out!

For work, I styled the vest with a leather knee length skirt (more of these can be found in my fall capsule wardrobe as well!) and over an oversized poplin shirt. This look is sophisticated without being stuffy. It incorporates items you can wear all season – in and out of the office – to create an updated, professional outfit. A faux leather motto jacket has the ability to toughen up just about any outfit. They also last FOREVER. I bought my first one in high school (about 12 years ago) and am just now needing to replace it. This one comes in multiple colors, but I’m honestly really liking the cream color! It looks amazing with everything for fall.

Obsessing over this twist neck halter olive jumpsuit! Dress it with a blazer for the office, heels for a wedding, or a leather jacket (like I did here) for a night out.

This watch is an investment, but it is something you could wear every single day. It'd make an awesome gift for a significant other as well.
