I've always wanted a fireplace to decorate at Christmas but unfortunately we just didn't buy a house with a fireplace. We compromised and bought an electric fireplace and upgraded it by painting it white and building a hearth to sit it on. If you guessed light blue for our door color, you were correct! Actually its more of a greenish blue but I am in LOVE with it! Now I just need to paint our siding and trim so it actually looks good with the color of the door because right now it sticks out like a sore thumb 🤣 (SWIPE to see what I mean)

Baby name reveal!

LINCOLN ROY ENSTROM! We had a few guesses but nobody got it right. We had the hardest time finding a baby name this time around so it feels good to finally announce it! Steve’s middle name is Roy so we knew we wanted to name him after his dad, it was just a matter of finding a first name that fit.
.
We have a small house at just 1,300 sq ft and even though baby would have been in our room to begin with anyway, we wanted to make it as comfortable as possible for all of us since he will be in our room until he’s old enough to share a room with Mason.

I wanted his corner of the room to be a little nursery of sorts so a name plaque was a cute must have! We bought this from a local maker @poppysdesigns and I’m obsessed with it!

This island is the project I’ve currently been working on. (check out my stories) Since we are going to be doing butcherblock counters again for the rest of the kitchen, I wanted something lighter for the island but HOLY COW are new quartz counters expensive! A small piece for the island was going to be almost $500 😳...so back to the drawing board.

How on earth am I almost 18 weeks pregnant!? Time is just flying!

We were supposed to have our 20 week ultrasound this month and find out the gender but with everything going on, they aren’t allowing Steve to be there with me and I can’t take video of it. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t make me incredibly angry. I understand their reasoning but I’m honestly considering canceling the appointment. We will just take things 1 day at a time for now.
