Toys 9-12 months you actually need! Babies do not need much! With a select few intentional toys, you can set your child up for success developmentally. I can go on and on about this! Let me know in the comments if you have questions or want more information on toys for baby development.

Many of these are great because they can be used in different ways (rings on ring stacker are also sensory toys, shape sorter can be used for blocks). At this age range, babies are typically sitting up, and we’re seeing pre crawling skills, crawling, pulling up to stand and cruising. To encourage those pre walking skills, just raise any of these toys up onto the couch or a surface just out of reach.

Babies might also start rolling in this age range and interactive textile toys can motivate and encourage movement!

Babies are also exploring through their mouth and may start teething! Look at teethers that are round so theyre easy to grasp.
