Books I’ve read and enjoyed enough to share

I really enjoyed this book. It follows the Bright family over the years, narrated by different family members. So many relatable situations told with beautiful storytelling.

The Correspondent is not a page turner or action packed, but it is a truly lovely story that makes you feel connected to the main character through her letter writing.

I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to finish this book and ended up giving it five stars. It begins with something horrific happening to a child and I didn’t think I could get past it. Somehow, the beautiful storytelling wins it all. It’s both heart wrenching and heart warming at the same time. Definitely not a feel good book, but an excellent read.

Black History Month matters — in February and always.
These are some of the books my students return to again and again. Stories that build empathy, truth, and understanding belong in every classroom and home. 📚

When they say this book is life changing, they aren’t kidding! There is a reason why this is a bestseller! Mel Robbins uses her Let Them Them Theory to help you learn to stop worrying about what other people think and do. #letthem #melrobbins #bestseller #selfhelp

I’ve read almost every book by Jodi Picoult and she rarely disappoints. I loved the premise of this book-that perhaps Shakespeare didn’t actually write all of his works. Perhaps there was a woman behind many of his writings. Although fictional, many parts of this book are based on facts! You don’t have to be a Shakespeare lover to love this book, which has two stories of women whose voices are suppressed by the mere fact that they are female.
