A few details from our toddler Safari Room ✨ I had this Safari wallpaper mural picked out before was even pregnant & I've loved it for so long and once we finally got it up I was so happy it didn't disappoint! Powder room refresh 🖤 This little powder room was dated & builder-grade. We weren’t ready for a full gut, but with a few simple changes we were able to change the vibe completely! The biggest transformation was colour drenching in black - walls, ceiling, trim. It instantly made the space feel moodier, more custom, and surprisingly more elevated. The champagne bronze finish on the hardware is the perfect warm shade to soften the look. A true gold or silver would’ve been too stark. Before & Afters are so satisfying, but they don’t happen overnight. What started as a dated builder grade space slowly became one of my favourite rooms in our home. Over the last three years it took: • a lot of trial & error DIY • trying to make new pieces work with old pieces we weren’t ready to replace yet (but will!) • changing my mind more times than I can count (and plenty of returns) • and convincing my husband of just a few more projects 😅 But the truth is… a home is never really “done.” You just keep evolving it as your style changes and you fall more in love with the process.
