We used left over plastic hearts that we purchased from The Dollar Tree last year and glued on little magnets that I purchased on Amazon with loctite to create these heart magnets. We then placed number coins on each Magna-Tile and added the corresponding hearts to each. This activity is great to teach counting but can be used to teach addition, subtraction, multiplication, even/odd numbers, and more! . I also want to stress how important it is to monitor a young child that is using magnets. If ingested, magnets become an extreme danger. .
