A bit off topic but I recently learned about “decision fatigue” in a book I’ve been reading and thought about all the times I’ve felt overwhelmed when trying to choose an outfit. I love seeing the transition in tones to more neutral colours as we start approaching August — it’s subtle, yet noticeable. While it’s still warm, this is the perfect time to lean into more comfortable basics that make styling / layering outfits super easy as the weather gradually starts to change.

I love the gold hardware on the buttons, it adds a touch of luxe to what’s meant to be a more laid back yet still stylish outfit. I want my loungewear to be soft and comfortable, but also look elevated and put-together, so even if I’m working at home and need to run last min errands I can just throw on a blazer and smart leather trainers and still look like I’ve made an effort!

One of my gorg friends wore this dress to her business launch event and she looked genuinely amazing in it!
It hugs in all the right places, giving that hourglass, waist cinching effect (coming from someone who’s been called an ironing board many, many times😅). It’s not very stretchy and the buttons are not usable so if you’re in between sizes I’d recommend trying both sizes to find your perfect fit!

Bearing in mind I have the figure of an ironing board, I’m in shock that this dress has given me actual curves???? I have a primark stick-on-bra underneath so no icky bra straps showing at the back, especially not in hot weather!
