Well it finally hit me hard yesterday and boy did I cry…
I wasn’t expecting too, and I’m not even a big “crier” but my oldest is a fifth grader now, and this is his Last year of elementary ☹️
It didn’t quite hit me until he didn’t want to give a big hug and he wanted a little distance, as we walked in 😭
That was by far the hardest school drop off yet for me.
I know it’s only going to get harder, they grow too fast!!
I’m SO happy to see them grow and become more independent but so sad at the same time.
They had a great first day yesterday and I know it’s going to be a great year!!
